It is considered one of the eight scenic spots in Daejeon, and is a mountain that spans 11 districts and is a representative urban park in Daejeon. There are about 10 hiking courses, the representative course starting from the old Bomunsan Cable Car Plaza, passing through the observatory, passing Songhaksa Temple, and coming down to the old cable car plaza. In addition to the hiking course, there is a music hall, youth square, and observatory.
